twirl-o-paint

These little men, Judd, Erik, and Antonio, love to make these spin paint pictures.

This is a better pic than the collage, so I put it up separately.

We "painted" with a twirl-o-paint machine. You just put the paper on the spinner, turn it on and drizzle or drip paint on to it. You can also do this with a salad spinner or a potter's wheel (but if you use a potter's wheel, make sure you have a guard around the paper so the paint doesn't fly everywhere!

Even the toddlers got to help!

The children chose and placed the socks, yarn and buttons.
(Of course, the teachers did the hot gluing.)

Jamie chose some bright colors for her puppet!

Blue hair. Green hair. Brown eye. Black eye.

Pink hair, pink and red eyes. Love the heart shaped eye. :)

We made sock puppets, yesterday. After they chose what sock to use, the yarn they wanted (for hair) and how to put it on, they got to choose buttons for the other facial features.
